ADUSTECH Leadership Pays Homage to Emir Sanusi II; Receives Commendation for Institutional Excellence

The Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, today, Tuesday, 21st April 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, at his palace.
Speaking to the Emirate, Prof. Yakasai said the purpose of the visit was to pay homage and also to condole with the Emir over the demise of his younger brother, who passed away recently.
In his remarks, the Emir thanked the University Management for their visit and called on them to redouble their efforts for the success of the institution.
"We are proud of the university due to its performance over the years, and we urge you to keep doing your best in order to continue competing with other state universities in the country," he said.
The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by top university officials, including: the Chairman of the Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor, Justice Abdu Aboki (Rtd.); DVC Academic, Prof. Ado Mukhtar Bichi; DVC Administration, Prof. Nouraddeen Umar Bashir; University Registrar, Dr. Naheed Ibrahim; Professor Abdullahi Muhammad of Dawakin Kudu; University Librarian, Aminu Tukur Halilu; the University Bursar; and other members of the University Council and staff.
