Agriculture Minister Tasks Newly Inducted ABU-Trained Veterinary Doctors on Professionalism

The Honorable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Sabi A. Abdullahi, has urged 103 newly inducted veterinary doctors from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) to uphold professionalism and selflessness in their practice.

 

Speaking at the induction ceremony held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Abdullahi Mahadi Conference Centre, Senator Abdullahi emphasized the critical role veterinarians play in ensuring food security, economic development, and public health. He encouraged the new graduates to think beyond traditional veterinary practice and seek knowledge, collaboration, and innovation to drive the industry forward.
