Ahmadu Bello University Alumnus, Emir of Ningi Dies After 46 Years of Reign
Born in 1936, Danyaya ascended to the throne in 1978. He was educated at Ningi Elementary School, Bauchi Middle School, the School of Hygiene in Kano, and earned a diploma in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The Emir of Ningi in Bauchi State, Yunusa Danyaya, has passed away at the age of 87 after 46 years on the throne. He died in a Kano hospital on Saturday following a long illness.
Usman Sule, Secretary of the Ningi Emirate Council, announced that the funeral prayer will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Emir’s Palace in Ningi.
