Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has released the Second Semester 2024/2025 Examination timetable for students in its full-time programmes.

The institution has also issued strict examination guidelines to ensure orderliness and compliance during the period.

According to the notice issued by the Polytechnic’s Media Unit on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, students are reminded to adhere to Section 9 of the Students’ Handbook, which outlines the rules guiding examinations.

Examination Guidelines

  1. Dress decently at all times. Crop tops, shorts, sleeveless outfits, clothing without brassieres, and other revealing clothes are prohibited.
  2. School bags are not allowed in the examination halls. Any bag found will attract disciplinary action against the owner.
  3. The use of cellphones or mobile devices of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the examination halls.
  4. Students must keep their surroundings clean during examinations. No textbooks or loose papers are permitted inside the halls.
  5. All students must present their ID Cards, Blue Card, or duly stamped school fee receipt as proof of payment. These documents should be kept safely during the examination.

The Polytechnic further emphasized that students must avoid all forms of examination malpractice as stipulated in the Students’ Handbook, warning that violators will face unpleasant consequences.

The Media Unit wished all students success in their examinations and directed them to consult the attached Section 9 of the Handbook for details on rules and punishments.
