Akwa Ibom State University Announces Professorial Promotions

The Senate of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has approved the promotion of several academic staff members to the ranks of Professor and Associate Professor.

The promotions were announced at the 114th Senate Meeting held on September 24, 2025.

Promoted Scholars:

- Professor:

    - Dr. Ekong Ufot Nathaniel (Department of Physics)

- Associate Professors:

    - Dr. Godwin James Udo (Department of Chemistry)

    - Dr. Idorenyin Mmeme Sam (Department of Animal Science)
