Al-Hikmah University Promotes First Female Professorg

The Governing Council of Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin, Kwara State, has approved the promotion of Moriam Adeyemi Aremu to the rank of professor, making her the first female professor in the university's nearly 20-year history. Along with Aremu, seven other academic staff members were also promoted to professor.
Aremu, from the Department of Business Administration, joined Al-Hikmah University in 2009 as an assistant lecturer. She was promoted to reader in 2021 and currently serves as the Director of the Centre for Summer Studies at the university.
