Al-Qalam University in Katsina Celebrates 104 First-Class Graduates in Second Combined Convocation

Prof. Yawuri further informed that these first-class graduates span from the 2016 session to the present date. The convocation ceremony will also see the conferring of seven Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, 125 Master's degrees, and seven postgraduate diplomas (PGD). A total of 139 postgraduates will be honored at the event.

In a remarkable achievement, Al-Qalam University in Katsina state proudly announces that 104 students have graduated with first-class honors out of the 9,894 graduates. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nasiru Musa Yawuri, revealed this information during a briefing in Katsina on Monday, November 20, ahead of the university's second combined convocation scheduled for Saturday, November 25.

Prof. Yawuri further informed that these first-class graduates span from the 2016 session to the present date. The convocation ceremony will also see the conferring of seven Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees, 125 Master's degrees, and seven postgraduate diplomas (PGD). The Vice Chancellor expressed enthusiasm about celebrating graduates from the 2016 to 2023 sessions, emphasizing that the university is dedicated to ensuring a memorable convocation ceremony for all graduates, including those from the 2022/2023 session.

Additionally, Prof. Yawuri disclosed that four eminent personalities, including the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, and Alhaji Abdulsamad Isiyaka Rabiu, will be conferred with honorary doctorate degrees.
