The Management of the Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has released an adjusted second semester academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session, as approved by the Senate and announced in a special bulletin today, Friday, August 22, 2025.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Olusoji, outlined the revised schedule to guide the university community.
Key dates include: students returning on Tuesday, 2nd September, 2025, with the second semester lecture commencing the same day. Continuous assessment for all students begins Monday, 6th October, 2025, followed by second semester examinations starting Friday, 3rd November, 2025. Examinations conclude on Monday, 29th December, 2025, with faculty board examiners meeting to consider results. The Business Committee of Senate is set to meet on Monday, 5th January, 2026, to consider results, with the full Senate meeting from Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th January, 2026, to finalize the academic session.
The bulletin, signed by Ephraim Ikhareron Isiraojie, Acting Registrar, and Ibhagbemien Dominic Odianosen, AA, Information, Protocol & Public Relations, urges all Deans, Directors, Heads of Department, students, and the general public to be guided accordingly.
