Speaking at the ceremony, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, urged staff, students, and all stakeholders to work together in unity to advance the institution’s vision and restore its legacy of excellence.
Chief Orbih emphasized that the success of the new administration would depend on the collective effort of every member of the university community, noting that collaboration and harmony remain crucial for progress.

The investiture marked a significant milestone in the university’s leadership transition, as Professor Omonzejie assumes office with a commitment to foster academic growth, innovation, and institutional stability.
