The Asmau and Hassan Foundation, a prominent Non-Governmental Organization, has called for increased support and collaboration with Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) to advance its initiatives and projects within Nasarawa State and neighboring areas.

The Asmau and Hassan Foundation, a prominent Non-Governmental Organization, has called for increased support and collaboration with Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) to advance its initiatives and projects within Nasarawa State and neighboring areas. This plea was made during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman.

The visit was led by Ahmed Sufiyan Alkassim, the Foundation’s spokesman, who, along with other Executive Committee Members, met with the Vice-Chancellor to discuss the Foundation's ongoing and future endeavors. Alkassim detailed the Foundation's mission, emphasizing its REEF Program—an acronym for Rehabilitation, Education, Empowerment, and Feeding. The program is designed to bridge the gap between the vulnerable and the most needy in society.

Alkassim highlighted that the Foundation has already made significant impacts, including providing scholarships to some students and orphans at NSUK and distributing empowerment tools to over 20 widows in Keffi. He expressed a strong desire for greater collaboration with the university to expand the reach and effectiveness of the REEF Program, ensuring that more vulnerable individuals benefit from the Foundation's services.

In her response, Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman expressed her gratitude for the Foundation’s visit and its commendable efforts in supporting the less privileged. She acknowledged that the visit marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership between NSUK and the Asmau and Hassan Foundation. The Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed the university's commitment to supporting the Foundation's initiatives and working together to achieve its goals.

The visit concluded with the presentation of branded souvenirs to Professor Liman as a token of appreciation for her support and cooperation. This gesture symbolized the strengthened relationship between the Foundation and the university, setting the stage for future collaborative efforts aimed at benefiting the wider community.
