The Biological Sciences Students Association (BIOSSA) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) recently held a farewell ceremony for its outgoing president.

The outgoing president delivered an emotional farewell address, highlighting the association's achievements during their tenure. These included hosting the first-ever fresher's sensitization outreach and orientation, installing new notice boards, organizing a leadership summit, providing free medical tests, and collaborating with other departmental presidents on joint projects.

Under their leadership, BIOSSA was divided into three distinct associations: Nigerian Association of Microbiology Students, Ecology Student Forum, and Biological Science Students Association.
