ATBU Releases Mandatory Admission Acceptance and Online Registration Procedures for 2025/2026 Session

The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has issued a directive outlining mandatory procedures for all candidates who have been offered admission for the upcoming academic session via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

In a memo signed by the Registrar, Alh. Kabiru Garba Aminu, fnipr, candidates are required to complete two critical steps immediately after accepting their admission offer on the JAMB platform.

These steps are prerequisites for the commencement of online registration, which is officially scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 17, 2025.

The Registrar also issued a strict deadline for those who have an offer on CAPS but are yet to accept it. Affected candidates are strongly advised to accept their offer on or before Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Failure to comply with this deadline will result in the forfeiture of the admission slot.

All concerned candidates are expected to adhere strictly to these guidelines to secure their place within the institution.
