ATBU Student Dawud Abdulbasit Balarabe Excels in Mechanical Engineering

Dawud Abdulbasit Balarabe, a 400-level student of mechanical engineering at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and leadership skills.

Despite initial setbacks, including a JAMB score of 245 that didn't secure admission to ABU Zaria in 2017, Dawud persevered and gained admission to ATBU in 2018 with a score of 233.

Within the academic community, Dawud has showcased his dedication to mechanical engineering through various roles. He served as the Director of Academics for the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMECHE) in the 2022/2023 academic session and simultaneously as a tutor under the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students' Association (NUESA). These positions have enabled him to support his peers and contribute to the growth of the engineering field on campus.
