Augustine University Engages AI and Digital Transformation at Zenith Bank Tech Fair 2024

Staff and students of Augustine University participated in the Zenith Bank Tech Fair 2024, held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.Themed “Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperative: The Impact of AI,” the event explored the transformative role of artificial intelligence in reshaping finance, enhancing cybersecurity, and driving digital innovation.

Key sessions featured industry experts discussing digital transformation strategies, embedded finance trends, and AI-driven solutions to emerging challenges. Attendees also engaged with groundbreaking tech innovations displayed at the fair.

A standout segment of the event was the Zecathon, a competition for startups and tech enthusiasts, showcasing creative solutions to real-world problems.

The Augustine University delegation, comprising faculty and students from disciplines such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering, gained valuable insights and connected with industry leaders.

Representing AUI were Dr. Pauline Atanley (Physics) and Miss Moyinoluwa Ajayi (Public Relations), alongside students including Itua-Oboh Osakhuemhen Peter, Akinsete Oyebanyi, and Iwunze Daniel Chukwuma, among others.
