Babcock University Expels Student Over Alleged Misconduct

Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State, has expelled a student, Master Oladipupo Siwajuola, over alleged misconduct.

The university's disciplinary committee found the student guilty of five charges, including unauthorized exit from school, drug peddling, fetish practices, impersonation, and unauthorized sale of personal property.

According to the university's Director of Marketing and Communications, Dr. Joshua Suleiman, the student had left the university premises without authorization on April 28, 2025. His mother subsequently declared him missing on social media, accusing the university of negligence and complicity. However, the student was later found and confessed to various misconducts, including drug peddling, fetish practices, and impersonation.

The university has taken the decision to expel the student with immediate effect, citing the need to maintain a safe, secure, and morally sound learning environment. The university reserves the right to appeal the expulsion as provided for in the student handbook.
