Cut-Off Marks
According to the Admissions Office, candidates seeking admission into BMU must meet the following cut-off marks:
- Medicine & Surgery (MBBS): 275
- Pharmacy (Pharm.D): 228
- Nursing Science: 230
- Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS): 211
- Radiography & Radiation Science (B.Sc): 211
- Optometry (O.D): 184
- Physiotherapy: 181
- Other Programmes: 170

Eligibility Criteria
The University outlined the following requirements for all applicants:
- A minimum score of 150 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
- At least five (5) O’Level credits in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
Application Process
Prospective students are required to apply through the university’s website, www.bmu.edu.ng. Applicants are to:
- Select their desired programme.
- Register and activate their account via an email confirmation link.
- Log in, complete the application form, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee of ₦2,500.
Candidates who did not initially select BMU as their first choice on the JAMB CAPS platform are advised to update their selection and ensure their O’Level results are uploaded at a JAMB office or accredited cybercafé.
