Bayero University Kano to Hold Induction Ceremony for New Pharmacists
This induction ceremony aims to welcome new pharmacists into the profession and highlight the evolving role of pharmacists in the healthcare sector.
Bayero University, Kano, will host an induction ceremony for new pharmacists on October 24, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Murtala Tukur Theater on the university's Old Campus.
The event, themed "Enhancing Pharmacists Thrive in a Rapidly Evolving Healthcare Landscape," will feature His Excellency Alh. Abba K. Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State, as the Special Guest of Honor. Prof. Sagir Adamu Abbas, FMAN, the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, will serve as the Chief Host.
The keynote address will be delivered by Pharm. Ibrahim Babashehu Ahmed, the Registrar of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of continuous education and skill development for pharmacists.
Prof. J.A. Onaolapo, Provost of the College of Allied Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, will be the Keynote Speaker, while Prof. Ahmed Tijjani Mora, OON, mni, will serve as the Royal Father of the Day. Pharm. Ubale Hashim FPSN will be the Guest of Honor, and Pharm. (Dr.) M.M. Zango, FPSN, will chair the occasion. Dr. Danladi Suleiman will oversee the Oath-Taking Committee.
