Beatrice Teni Gana Emerges as Top Biochemistry Graduate at FUTMinna

Meet Beatrice Teni Gana, who earned a Bachelor of Technology in Biochemistry with First Class Honours from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. 

She graduated with an outstanding cumulative grade point average of 4.67 over 5.00, emerging as the Second Best Graduating Student in her department during the 2025 academic session. 

Beatrice began her academic journey with a 3.90 GPA. What started with uncertainty slowly unfolded into a story of growth, resilience, and self-discovery. There were tough lectures, long nights, failed experiments, and moments of self-doubt. 

Along the way, she learned discipline, perseverance, and the true power of science when applied to real-world challenges. 

Her convocation is a reminder that purpose can be found in unexpected places — and that starting a course that wasn’t part of the original plan can still lead to something beautiful.
