Borno State University Appoints Dr. Hamsatu Kadala Ali as University Librarian

Borno State University (BOSU) has appointed Dr. Hamsatu Kadala Ali as its new University Librarian, effective December 16, 2024. The appointment is for a five-year tenure.

Dr. Hamsatu Kadala Ali, from Hawul Local Government Area of Borno State, previously served as Acting Librarian at Federal University Gashua and Head of Department of Library and Information Science.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babagana Gutti congratulated Dr. Ali on her appointment, urging her to contribute to the university's progress and development.

Dr. Ali pledged to deliver her best efforts in her new role as University Librarian.
