BUK Department of Public Admin Clinches Dean's Trophy in 2024 Faculty Competition

In a thrilling finale on Friday, 16th February 2024, the students' football team of Bayero University Kano's Department of Public Administration secured victory, claiming the Dean's Trophy for the 2024 Faculty of Management Science Competition.

The Faculty of Management Sciences at BUK organized the competition, providing a platform for students from different departments to showcase their football prowess and strengthen bonds beyond the academic realm. The final match witnessed intense competition, with the Department of Public Administration ultimately emerging as champions.

Prof. Aminu Isa, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, presented the coveted trophy to the winning team, applauding their sportsmanship and emphasizing the importance of balancing academic pursuits with extracurricular activities. He highlighted that such competitions contribute to fostering a friendly relationship among departments.

Dr. Abubakar Tabiu, Head of the Department of Public Administration, commended the participants for their dedication and wished them continued success in their future endeavors. The winning team, led by Muhammad Usman Mana, President of the National Association of Public Administration Students at BUK, and team captain David Onoja Onuh, attributed their victory to the collective support received from the department.
