BUK Faculty of Education Edges SCE 7–6 in Thrilling Opener as 18th Interfaculty Games Kick Off

In a nerve-jangling opener to the 18th Interfaculty Games, the Faculty of Education triumphed over the School of Continuing Education (SCE) 7–6 on penalties after a pulsating goalless draw on Saturday, 9th August 2025.

The clash at the Ahmadu Adamu Muazu Stadium, New Campus, was a masterclass in grit and determination.

 From the first whistle, both sides dazzled the crowd with crisp, intelligent passes and relentless attacking runs, keeping the atmosphere electric and the fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite numerous near-misses and breathtaking saves, neither team could break the deadlock in regulation time. The tension reached fever pitch during the penalty shootout, where Education held their nerve in dramatic fashion to seal their place in the next round, sending their supporters into wild celebration.
