BUK Leads in NELFUND Student Loan Disbursement

 Bayero University Kano (BUK) has received the highest disbursement of student loans from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), totaling over ₦853 million.

According to the latest figures, the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) followed closely with a disbursement of ₦589 million, while federal University of Dustin-Ma received ₦304 million.

The NELFUND loan scheme aims to support undergraduate students in public universities across Nigeria, providing financial assistance to help them complete their studies.

The top three universities in the loan disbursement list are:

1. Bayero University Kano - ₦853 million

2. University of Maiduguri - ₦589 million

3. Federal University Dutsinma- ₦304 million
