Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced that admission requests for certain programmes will no longer be entertained due to filled quotas. The affected programmes include:
English, Accounting and Business Administration, Agriculture and Agricultural Extension Administration, Public Administration, Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Dental Surgery, Radiography, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Procurement Management, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer Science, Geology, Statistics, International Studies, Mass Communication, and Political Science.
However, the university has advised candidates with requisite requirements to change to available programmes in various faculties, including:
ABU Business School: Actuarial Science, Insurance, and Marketing
Agriculture: Forestry and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture
Arts: Literature in English, History, Arabic Studies, Archaeology, and Hausa
Education: Agric Education, Business Education, Educational Administration and Planning, Adult Education, Guidance and Counseling, Geography Education, Human Kinetics, Social Studies Education, Arabic Education, Hausa Education, Mathematics Education, and Physics Education
Engineering: Agricultural and Bio-Resources Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mining and Mineral Engineering, Polymer and Textile Engineering, and Water Resource and Environmental Engineering
Environmental Design: Building, Geomatics, Urban and Regional Planning, Glass Technology, and Sustainable Environmental Standard
