Byepyi Community Delegation Extends Christmas Greetings to TSU VC Prof. Sunday Paul Bako

The Vice-Chancellor of Taraba State University, Jalingo, Professor Sunday Paul Bako, recently received a delegation from the Byepyi Community in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State at his Donga residence at Christmas.

The purpose of their visit was to pay Christma homage to and congratulate on the many breakthroughs witnessed since his appointment as Vice-Chancellor at the Taraba State University, Jalingo.

During the courtesy call, the delegation acknowledged the positive impact and contributions Prof. Bako has made to the university, emphasizing the significance of his rapid impact on the University since assumption of office a year and some months ago. 

The Byepyi Community representatives also extended their warm wishes to Prof. Bako for the Christmas celebration and offered prayers for a peaceful and prosperous 2023.

Leading the delegation was Dr. Reuben Jonathan, the newly appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration. Other members included Dr. Adigrace Daniel, the immediate past Chairman of Wukari Local Government Council, Dr. Musa Gani, Rev James K. Agbu, Rev. Silas D. Daudu, and Mr. Gambo Tsokwa, the Youth leader of the community.

In response, Prof. S P Bako expressed heartfelt delight for the visit, acknowledging the strong support and love from the Byepyi Community over the years. He thanked the community for their continuous goodwill towards the university and praised Dr. Jonathan Reuben as a commendable ambassador of Byepyi. The Vice-Chancellor concluded by expressing pride in Dr. Reuben's accomplishments and wished for the sustained success and positive representation of Byepyi in the future.
