The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced a partnership with the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) to work out modalities for the disbursement of the proposed students loan.

Myschoolnews had earlier reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on assumption of office announced plans to introduce the students loan scheme.

The arrangement allows students receive interest free loans to fund their education payable in installments over a two year period after conclusion of their NYSC.

As a result of this new partnership between the CBN and JAMB, payment of the loan would be monitored in relationship with JAMB after relevant checks are carried out JAMB.
