Civil Engineering Graduate Emerges Best Student with 4.94 CGPA at Edo State University Convocation

Daniel Ranti Adio of the Department of Civil Engineering has been named the overall best graduating student and valedictorian of the 2025 class at Edo State University Iyamho.

Adio graduated with a cumulative grade point average of 4.94, earning the Vice-Chancellor’s Award in recognition of his exceptional academic performance.

The award, which includes a cash prize of ₦1 million, was presented during the university’s 7th Convocation Ceremony by the Visitor to the institution, Monday Okpebholo, who was represented by Philip Afaha.

The recognition highlights Adio’s academic excellence and places him at the forefront of the graduating class, underscoring the university’s emphasis on merit and high performance.
