The news of his demise was confirmed in a somber announcement on Saturday, January 24, 2026. According to reports, the tragedy occurred following a ghastly motor accident along the Gudi-Keffi road.

Suleiman Dahiru, a well-known figure within the institution and the Lafia community, was described by colleagues and friends as a dedicated individual whose loss has left a significant void.
