College of Education Nguru Provost Inaugurates SUG and New Clubs at College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies

The College Of Education and Legal Studies Nguru community reached a significant milestone yesterday as the Provost, Professor Ali Manzo Usman, officially inaugurated the Student Union Government (SUG) and several specialized clubs at the College Lecture Theatre (LT II).

The ceremony, designed to foster leadership development and co-curricular engagement, marks a new chapter in student representation and social responsibility within the institution.

In his keynote address, Professor Ali Manzo Usman commended the organizers for the successful event. He emphasized that these unions and clubs are vital for the academic, social, and moral growth of the student body.

The Provost challenged the newly minted leaders to lead by example, urging them to uphold discipline, integrity, and responsibility. "Serve as good ambassadors and role models both within and outside the College," he advised.

The high point of the event was the administration of the official oath of office by the College Legal Officer, Barrister Ali Maroma.

Following the swearing-in, the Dean of Students, Barrister Ishaq Jimoh, and the newly inaugurated SUG President, Bukhari Salisu, delivered remarks expressing their readiness to collaborate with the management to enhance student welfare and institutional standards.
