Comr. Abeen Sylvester Praises Gov Sule for Supporting Benue Students at FULafia
The NUBESS President at Federal University of Lafia praised Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for providing palliative funds and essential support to Benue State students.
Comrade Abeen Sekegh Sylvester, President of the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS) at the Federal University of Lafia, has praised His Excellency Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, for his significant contribution to the welfare of Benue State students in Lafia.
During a recent acknowledgment ceremony for the palliative funds donated by Governor Sule, Comrade Sylvester expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the governor’s support. “I extend my appreciation to you, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, and your cabinet members for prioritizing the welfare of Nigerian students,” Sylvester said. He highlighted the impact of the palliative distribution program, which he believes has alleviated many challenges faced by Benue State students.

Sylvester lauded the governor’s generous gesture, noting that it stands out among various forms of support he has provided. He assured that he and the Executive Council of NUBESS would arrange a visit to personally thank the governor at a convenient time.

The commendation comes in recognition of Governor Sule’s recent initiative, which included distributing 8,000 bags of rice and providing cash donations to address students' needs. Over 500 Benue State students received the rice, while data collection for cash transfers was managed with the assistance of the Student Representative Council President, Comrade Idrish Shui'abu Abdallah.

Sylvester concluded by praying for continued wisdom and protection for Governor Sule, hoping he remains dedicated to serving the people of Nasarawa State effectively.
