On August 8, 2024, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) hosted a Prize-giving Day and Send-off ceremony for its graduating class from the Department of Music. The event featured a keynote address by Dr. Harrison Madubueze, the University's Public Relations Officer, who spoke on "The Future of Music Education in Anambra State."
