In a bid to solidify its international presence and foster academic excellence on a global scale, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has taken significant strides towards leveraging the ERASMUS+ program and building strategic partnerships.

Under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Kate Omenugha Fnipr, the active Acting Vice Chancellor of COOU, a 16-member research office team was inaugurated on February 21st, 2024. Tasked with a comprehensive 20-point mandate, this team stands at the forefront of driving the university's research and internationalization efforts.

Building upon this momentum, Prof. Omenugha extended her commitment to advancing COOU's international agenda by hosting a pivotal one-day workshop titled "Deepening COOU's International Agenda: The ERASMUS+ and Other Pathways" on February 28th.

The workshop, held at the Center of Entrepreneurial Studies at the Igbraim campus, featured Assoc. Prof. Nghargbu K'tse, an ERASMUS+ fellow and renowned Linkages and Partnership Consultant, as the distinguished guest speaker. Additionally, the event welcomed esteemed speakers online from Poland, including Prof. Tomasz Wolowiec, Vice Rector for Science and International Cooperation at the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin, and Edyta Gatecka, Director of International Relations at the University of Economics in Katowice.
