COOU National Alumni Body Congratulates Vice Chancellor, Pledges Support for Her Administration

On Friday, 29th August 2025, the National Alumni Body of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), led by its National President, Dr. Dubem Oguegbu, paid a courtesy visit to the 5th substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, to congratulate her on her confirmation.

On Friday, 29th August 2025, the National Alumni Body of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), led by its National President, Dr. Dubem Oguegbu, paid a courtesy visit to the 5th substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, fnipr, to congratulate her on her confirmation.

During the visit, Dr. Oguegbu described Prof. Omenugha’s appointment as “a square peg in a square hole,” praising her leadership style and motherly disposition. He highlighted that within a short period, the Alumni body has witnessed a notable surge in engagement under her administration, reflecting inclusiveness, openness, and genuine concern for both students and alumni. He assured that the Alumni remain committed to supporting her vision and ensuring the success of her administration.

Prof. Omenugha expressed gratitude to the Alumni body, noting that their presence and goodwill make her feel at home.
