Admission Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following requirements to gain admission into Crawford University's undergraduate programs:

  1. General O-Level Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) relevant subjects. These credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/WASCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTECH.

  2. UTME Requirements:

    • O-Level Subjects: Five (5) O-Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for Physical Sciences; and Chemistry and Biology for Biological Sciences.
    • UTME Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, and Economics, depending on the department.

Candidates will also be subjected to a screening test (written and oral), with the date to be communicated soon.

Application Process

Interested candidates should follow these steps to apply:

  1. Change of Institution: Candidates who have already applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their first choice of university to Crawford University must apply for a change of institution through JAMB.

  2. Application Form: Candidates can fill out the online application form or obtain a physical form from Crawford University's registry.

  3. Payment: Pay a non-refundable administrative fee of N2,000 into one of the following university accounts through National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT):

  4. Submission: Completed forms, along with the payment teller, should be scanned and sent as an attachment to info@crawforduniversity.edu.ng or admissions@crawforduniversity.edu.ng for processing.

JUPEB-Foundation Programme

Crawford University also offers the JUPEB-Foundation program for students who have at least five (5) credits but did not meet the JAMB cut-off marks or did not sit for the JAMB examination. This program, running for one session, allows students to secure Direct Entry admissions into Nigerian and partnering foreign tertiary institutions upon passing the unified examination.
