Cross River Commissioner Lauds NOUN Management for Excellent Administration
The Cross River State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Helen Isamoh-Egodo, has applauded the Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Olufemi Peters and his management team for an excellent and laudable leadership prowess.

The commissioner stated this on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 when she paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor in his office at the headquarters of the university in Jabi, Abuja.
Isamoh-Egodo, who before her appointment, was a teaching staff of NOUN in the Department of Criminology and Security Studies and currently on leave of absence, said the thrust of her visit was to thank the management for excellent administration as well as professors who guided her and made her stay in NOUN a worthwhile.
“I sincerely appreciate and express my gratitude to both scholars for making my stay a useful and productive one,”she said.

While congratulating the Hon. commissioner, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his optimism that she would bring to her duties the credibility and high standards she is known for.
“I am proud that there are presently three state commissioners appointed from NOUN and it is a testimony that we have quality lecturers in NOUN.
The visiting commissioner was accompanied by Prof. David Uru Iyam, currently serving as a consultant with the ministry.
Present during the visit was Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Chiedu Mafiana.
