Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has advised the 1,815 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members posted to the state to resist negative influences and focus on honest service for the development of society. The governor, represented by Commissioner for Higher Education, Professor Tonukari Johnbull, emphasized the importance of transparent commitment and warned against frivolous travels that may pose dangers.

The state coordinator of NYSC, Mr. Alao Olusegun Olaosebikan, highlighted the achievements of the three-week orientation program, emphasizing that the corps members were well-equipped with knowledge and skills. He encouraged them to embrace humility, render rewarding service to their host communities, and positively impact the lives of those they interact with during their service year.
