The Management of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has reiterated that admission into the university is absolutely free of charge and strictly based on merit.

The management has issued a strong warning to prospective candidates, urging them not to pay anyone to secure admission, following reports of ongoing extortion and admission fraud.

Despite numerous announcements and disclaimers, the university expressed disappointment that some prospective candidates continue to fall victim to these fraudulent practices. For clarifications, inquiries, and guidance, the university has directed individuals to contact the Chairman of the Admissions Board at hiowamah@delsu.edu.ng. This move underscores DELSU's commitment to a transparent and merit-based admission process.
