Dr. Salau elected ASUU Kwara State University Chairman

Dr. AbdulGaniyu Shehu Salau of the Faculty of Agriculture has emerged the Chairperson of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Kwara State University Chapter.
The election, which was conducted on Thursday, 2nd November, 2023, at the Mini Convocation Arena of the University was witnessed by executives from universities in the zone and members of the union in KWASU.

Dr. Gafaru Olayiwola Olorishade from the Faculty of Education was also elected the Vice Chairperson while Dr. Abdullahi Adewale Bakare was elected the Secretary.
Other officers are: Dr. Olalekan Taofeeq Wahab, Assistant Secretary; Dr. Oyesola Olufemi Animasahun, Treasurer; Dr. AbdulRazaq Mustapha, Financial Secretary; Dr. Olayinka Olaogun, Internal Auditor; Dr. Modupelola Olamide Falabi, Welfare Officer; and, Dr. Olufemi Sijuade Bamigboye, Investment Secretary.
Dr. Salau, who was elected into office for his second tenure, highlighted his achievements in the last dispensation and promised to uphold the values of the union.
