In an internal memorandum addressed to all Deans of faculties at Ebonyi State University (EBSU), the Vice-Chancellor has directed each faculty to establish a specific dress code for its students. This directive aims to ensure decency and foster a sense of identity among students within their respective faculties.

"The adoption of faculty-specific dress codes follows recommendations from the committee on EBSU student dress code," the memorandum stated. "This initiative is intended to promote a conducive learning environment where students can focus on their academic pursuits."
