The Ebonyi State University of Science and Technology Hospital (EBSUTH) has withdrawn a 400-level MBBS student who failed to pass the 2nd Professional exam in Pathology and Pharmacology for the fifth time.

The student's withdrawal has sparked concerns about the university's examination policies and support systems for students.

The recent exam results showed a pass rate of only 31%, with 44 students passing out of 141 who sat for the exam. Seventy-five students will resit the exam, 22 will repeat the year, and three were disqualified.
