The management of Ecwa College of Nursing Sciences, Egbe is searching for an innovative, energetic physics lecturer to join our excellent team of lecturers who will be capable of preparing stimulating lessons, identifying and analyzing student needs, strengths, and weaknesses, overseeing experiments, as well as setting and grading assessments.
Background: ECWA College of Nursing Sciences, Egbe is located on a 40 acre medical complex in Egbe, Kogi State, Nigeria. The college complex comprises of an academic and residential areas with a student body of 398 and a faculty of 35. Founded in 1955, the institution formerly operated as a School of Nursing and School of Midwifery.

Having undergone significant revitalization, the College boasts an academic campus with 2 lecture and demonstration halls, 14 classrooms, and 40 staff offices. The residential campus includes 4 dormitories, an administration centre, kitchen/cafeteria, study hall and sick bay.
The College is currently undergoing accreditation process by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and offers Basic Nursing, Post Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery.

Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.
Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
3. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
4. Supervise students' laboratory work.
5. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
6. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
7. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
8. and any other responsibilities as directed by the reporting officer.
Qualifications/Experience:
⚫ applicant must have B. Sc. In Physics
⚫ PGD in Education will be an added advantage.
⚫ past experience as physics lecturer will a great advantage.
