Ekiti State University Lecturer Dr. Omojola Awogbemi Ranked Among World's Top 2% Scientists in Energy

Dr. Omojola Awogbemi, a Mechanical Engineer and Senior Chief Technologist at Ekiti State University (EKSU), has been recognized as one of the world's top 2% scientists in the subfield of Energy for 2025.

This prestigious ranking was compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier and published in the Elsevier Data Repository.

Dr. Awogbemi's achievement has enhanced the international visibility of EKSU in the global academic community. The Stanford University and Elsevier ranking identifies the world's leading researchers, representing approximately 2% of all scientists worldwide. It encompasses standardized data on citations, h-index, and a wide range of bibliometric indicators, classifying researchers into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields.
