Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has released the official guidelines for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening.
The exercise will accommodate UTME candidates who scored 150 and above, including those who did not initially choose EKSU but are willing to change the institution to their first choice on the JAMB CAPS platform.
In line with Senate approval, the University will also give concessions to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes. However, candidates awaiting their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results are advised to apply only after their results have been released.
The University’s minimum UTME scores for key programmes are as follows: Medicine & Surgery – 260; Law – 250; Doctor of Pharmacy – 240; Nursing Science – 230; Medical Laboratory Science – 220; Mass Communication – 200; Engineering programmes – 180; Computer Science – 180; and Medical Biochemistry – 180. Candidates with lower scores in these categories may apply for other programmes and effect the change on JAMB CAPS. EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) but does not accept IJMB for admission.
