The Management of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has approved an immediate reduction in the late registration fee from ₦10,000 to ₦5,000 following the discovery of a technical issue on the student portal.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Ekiti State University Students’ Union (EKSU-SU) on January 25, 2026. According to the statement, the ₦10,000 late registration fee initially displayed on the portal was not the approved amount but resulted from a technical configuration error.
