EKSU VC Emphasizes Discipline and Academic Excellence to Part-Time Fresh Students

The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, has underscored the importance of discipline and academic excellence to newly admitted Part-Time programme students.
Prof. Olanipekun stressed that the university would not tolerate indiscipline or truancy, emphasizing that laziness has no place in the institution.
Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Babatola Ayodele, the VC highlighted the success stories of EKSU alumni who passed through the Part-Time programme, emphasizing their diligence, quality of character, and determination.

He urged the fresh students to take their studies seriously, reminding them that despite the differences in the regular and part-time programmes, graduates receive the same certificates upon successful completion.
The Registrar of the University, Mr. Ife Oluwole, led the matriculants in taking the Matriculation Oath, both physically and virtually, during the ceremony held at the New Faculty of the Social Sciences Twin Hall.
The event, attended by Principal Officers, Deans of Faculties, Directors, and other dignitaries, serves as a clarion call for Part-Time students to uphold discipline, dedication, and academic excellence throughout their academic journey at EKSU.
