Emir Of Keffi Pledges More Support To NSUK As VC Visits Palace

The Emir of Keffi and Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III has promised to work assiduously for the success and improved visibility of the University.

The revered royal father gave the commitment when he received in audience the Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman and Principal Officers of the University in his Palace on Monday 20th May 2024.

The Chancellor informed the audience that he is already in contact with Universities outside the shores of Nigeria to partner with NSUK in the areas of research and development, linkages and scholarship awards to students in the University, he noted that he has started his consultation long before now and very soon the University will witness the positive benefits of his interventions.

The royal father tasked the Vice-Chancellor to run an all inclusive administration and build on the successes the University has attained over the years and take the University to greater heights.

In her remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman said she was in the palace to pay homage to her father and to solicit his continued support for more cooperation in terms of collaborations especially linking the University with other Universities in the world.

The Vice-Chancellor used the opportunity to appreciate the royal father for his efforts in combating the menace of substance abuse by youths in Keffi, a program that the royal father supports in collaboration with NSUK and Keffi Development Foundation KDF.
