The warning follows reports of a scammer who has been falsely claiming to offer admission services on behalf of Evangel University Akaeze. According to sources, the scammer has been using a phone number and email address to deceive potential applicants, falsely claiming that Post-UTME forms are available for purchase.

The fraudulent activity was brought to light when a concerned individual discovered the scammer’s contact information on a website purportedly associated with the university. After reaching out to the contact, the scammer sent details and forms via email, further misleading applicants.

In response to the scam, the official student management facebook group of Evangel University Akaeze has issued a formal statement urging all prospective candidates to be vigilant and to rely only on official university channels for admission-related information.
