The NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede came alive with laughter and talent as Corps Members gathered for an exciting evening of comedy and talent hunt. 

The panel of judges, comprising the Head of Man o' War, Ibukunoluwa Olarewaju, ASF1 Adefioye Adeniyi and Mrs. Catherine Otemuyiwa briefed the eager crowd on the criteria for the competition, which included Showmanship and Performance, Personality and Stage Appearance, Originality and Creativity, Audience Engagement and Time Management.

The evening's theme was comedy, and to set the tone, Mr. Uchebuchi Chibuike, the Head of Events and Promotions at Minimee, took the stage. He highlighted Minimee's dedication to spreading joy and announced a trending contest on Instagram, where participants could win substantial prizes. He urged Corps Members to join the trend and expressed eagerness for future collaborations with the NYSC.

 

Platoon Three initiated the night's performances with MC MO taking the stage, initiating a wave of laughter among Corps Members. The subsequent platoons followed suit, presenting their creative and unique comedy acts, leaving the audience in splits.

During the interlude, a talented Corps Member mesmerized the crowd with a captivating rap EP, showcasing diverse talents among the attendees. Tongue-twisting activities and vibrant dance performances further engaged the participants.

 

As the judges convened to deliberate, the excitement was palpable. The results were eventually announced, with Platoon 3 securing the third position with 64 points, Platoon 2 taking the second position with 70 points, and Platoon 8 emerging victorious with 77 points. 

 

The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, Minimee Nigeria. Prizes given to the winners included a plasma TV, home theatre, standing fan and other consolation prizes.
