The workshop, held on Monday, May 20, 2024, featured insightful discussions on optimizing digital tools for improved academic and administrative processes.

Professor Olurinde Lafe, Chairman & CEO of Fuel Cells Global LTD, emphasized the necessity for educational institutions to embrace digital tools in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. With over 30 years of teaching and research experience, including a stint as a Professor of Engineering at FUTA, Lafe stressed the importance of digital tools in supporting teaching, learning, and administrative functions.
Dr. Olorunsola Olowofeso, Director General of the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI), highlighted the transformative impact of digitalization on higher education institutions. He emphasized the significance of big data analysis in various aspects of academic and operational functions, urging staff to embrace collaboration and efficiency within the academic ecosystem.
In her remarks, Vice Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji underscored the indispensable role of information and communication technology in the 21st century.
