Federal Polytechnic Bali Kicks Off Students' Week with Old School/Kauyawa Day

The Federal Polytechnic Bali recently kicked off its Students' Week celebration with a vibrant Old School/Kauyawa Day event.

The event, held at the Sport Complex, Permanent Site, brought together students and staff in a celebration of nostalgia and cultural heritage.

Students and staff showcased their retro outfits, reminiscent of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s, with vintage agbadas, bell-bottom trousers, afro wigs, and old-school accessories. The event featured highlife beats, old-school Naija classics, traditional dances, drama skits, and local games, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The Old School/Kauyawa Day event was a beautiful blend of tradition, history, and celebration, highlighting the rich cultural diversity of Nigeria. The event marked the official commencement of the Students' Week 2025 celebration, which will continue with the Cultural Day tomorrow.

The Students' Week celebration will feature a range of events, including the Rector's Cup and Registrar's Cup football tournaments, cultural exhibitions, and traditional attire displays. The events will run from 8:00am to 2:00pm daily, and students are encouraged to participate and showcase their talents.
