Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Mourns Death of Former Dean Mal Ahmadu Maidorawa in Road Accident

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has been thrown into mourning following the death of Mal Ahmadu Maidorawa, a former Head of Department of Computer Science and immediate past Dean of the School of Science and Technology, who died in a motorbike accident along the ATBU Gubi Campus road.

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has been thrown into mourning following the death of Mal Ahmadu Maidorawa, a former Head of Department of Computer Science and immediate past Dean of the School of Science and Technology, who died in a motorbike accident along the ATBU Gubi Campus road.

Until his death, he was serving as Deputy Director of the ICT Geospatial Centre of the institution.

According to information released, his janaza has been scheduled for today at his family house in Unguwar Bauchi, Bauchi, by 5:30pm.

The institution described his passing as a huge loss to the academic community, noting his years of service and contributions to the growth of computer science and ICT development within the polytechnic.

Prayers were offered for the repose of his soul, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while also asking for strength and comfort for his family, colleagues, and students.
